It is a management team who is looking after all the existing projects of Poraleka and also have introduced
few more projects and campaign initiatives such as community development project 2015, eco-friendly library,
grow-green, save the cottage industry, re-use campaign and many more. Jonaki’r Alo was founded by Wafil Khan,
he personally looks after it with the help of very strong team members. Jonaki’r Alo Team: it is made up of few
hardworking and talented youths from different universities of Bangladesh. This team works as a volunteer with all
necessary facilities provided by JA fund. This team along with its head Wafil Khan, put a lot of effort everyday to
achieve the goals of Jonaki’r Alo initiative and projects.

What makes the difference is that this school is run by great zeal of Mr. Paffat Pervez Khan and very dedicating teachers to enlighten the children with the light of education. Jonaki'r Alo is a joint initiative of Poraleka (a reg. ngo since 1998) and ESA (a japanese npo).
They founded Jonaki primary school in 2004, to provide education to the underprivileged children in a remote area Charlaiykkha near Karnaphully river, Chittagong.
In 2013, they formed Jonaki'r Alo - a management team to initiate school based projects/events/programs related to pollution and health issues and in 2015 it introduced new development projects with the aim to enlighten a community and women empowerment project was a successful start up initiative
